Perfect Hair Goodies

I have collected a few goodies from a couple of episodes and thought you might get a kick out of them...

First of all, on Perfect Hair, I direct the animation and paint backgrounds. So, whenever I get the chance to add japanese writing, I try to find words or phrases that seem funny and oddly inappropriate on an anime translation website. Here are a few of my favorite examples: (Click an image below to enlarge it)

From ep6, there is a huge crowd scene for the big race. The stands  are supposed to be filled with fans, some with face paint and  writing. Amber Boardman painted the hot dog buns and cats. I added the writing and foam fingers and stuff. So the writing on the hot dog bun translates to "bloody vomit" and the writing on the cat says "baby food".

Also from ep6 (but I think it was cut) the anime god is scalping tickets. One is supposed to show front row center and the other show  backstage pass. So while I was painting them I had more japanese fun.  The top of the ticket says "center of gravity" and the bottom  translates to "incurable disease".

One of the funny ones that I did right from the start (really without realizing what Uncle Grandfather was really like) is in Uncle Grandfather house on the back wall, the japanese writing says "no women allowed".
